The shop resembles a miniature letterpress studio, featuring an antique cash register, old wooden drawers filled with lead type, and most notably, a century-old letterpress machine proudly displayed at the entrance—our most treasured centerpiece. Many curious passersby are drawn into the store by its vintage charm.
This notebook, inspired by the letterpress machine, features paper with excellent ink absorption, making it ideal for both regular pens and fountain pens. TOOLS to LIVEBY second physical store opened in 2013 in the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a towering bookshelf and an elegant iron spiral staircase that stretches upward. Nearby sits a vintage, ornate cash register. Combined with the store’s signature display of classic stationery arranged in precise horizontal and vertical lines, as well as suspended globes and sailing ship decorations, the space evokes the atmosphere of a medieval European library.
